Yes, GoJet employers received an official memo on 09/20 stating that the CRJ550 has been type certified by the FAA.

Is has been officially announced that they are planning to open EWR and GSO, sometime next year, but you know how plans go at the regional level.

You can have a plane have a type certificate but still not certified for passenger service. Did they say when the FAA would certify it for passengers?

Might be considered a rumor, however, they are advertising for Flight Attendants for the base.

Default Looking for a ton of information on DCE

Hey all,

Been reading your posts for a few days now. I’ve been at another regional for the past two years, just made CA three months ago, etc. I’m seriously considering coming over.

Would like to connect with someone st your company to learn the good, the bad, and the ugly.

PM me if you are interested..

We have the Bad and the Ugly over here. If you want the "good" you are going to have to look to another airline or be willing to listen to a recruiter lie to you. And GJ throws a lot of money to any pilot who recruits a pilot to come over here, so take anything good you are told about this place with a big grain of salt.

And with Compass going down and being a sister airline, they may take a couple hundred of them and stick them on the seniority list ahead of a lot of the new hires.

And why would a guy who is a CA at another regional want to switch and go to another regional, especially this place?

Even the VP of Ops and Chief Pilot are fired every year or so. If your goal is to become a VP or Chief Pilot, then this might actually be the place to go as there will be an opening soon.
