Skywest is not going to talk about their flying the 550s until a deal is finalized and will not rush to finish the deal just to make the earnings call.

SkyWest has no intention of flying those aircraft themselves. They didn’t start a leasing division just to lease 5 aircraft to Air Canada Jazz, and 20 GA aircraft to flight schools... they will lease them to someone...

Delta wants to drop Gojet and Compass. Gojet planes are going to Endeavor, already started, done deal, planes belong to Delta. Compass wants to move their 170s to United but United says no.

Today I'm hearing Compass to get 29 550s but lose its Delta flying. Who owns Compass' 170s?

FAA.gov "N" # search. N504GJ formerly N605QX. Now in YUL in 550 mod. Operated by GOJet on the nose.
The first of the desert dwellers resurrected. S/N 10022. Older than dirt itself.

FAA.gov "N" # search will reveal they belong to Delta. Try it, it's free.

Compass doesn’t have a CRJ program. Maybe you mean GoJet? Also, I don’t believe that Compass/TSH owns any of this 170/175’s either.

Yes, CP is a paper airline. They don’t own the planes.

Compass has no 170's, they already went to Republic a few years back. The Delta 175s are Delta owned and the American 175s are American owned.

I think when he referred to E170s, he/she was referring to 170s and 175s, since 175s are technically E170-200s.

It's interesting how an airline can own nothing. Compass is a group of pilots able to move with the wind. Move the planes to Republic with the stroke of a pen and Compass is gone.

Not a lot of bargaining power for the pilots when the company can simply take all the planes away. Well, pilots, Delta is taking our 175s away in November but United is saying that we can fly these 29 CRJ-550 beginning in February. Just sign this contract and you can start training in November.

But heck, they are ALPA protected.
