Ah OK...I'm at a 135 fractional. We fly alot.

This unique program allows experienced pilots join GoJet as a Captain, rather than a First Officer. This program is ideal for First Officers at other regionals who meet Captain requirements, but are facing long upgrade times. Direct Entry Captains with a current 121 type rating are eligible for $15,000 in new hire bonuses and may join carry over experience from another carrier at a rate of 1:1. Direct Entry Captains with a current 121 type rating are also eligible for up to six months of early seniority.

Hmmm.. Can you show up here with a EMB 145 type rating (and required 1000 sic) having never flown a CRJ, and go straight to CRJ Captain?

It really isn't all that uncommon to go directly to the captain seat of an airplane you haven't flown. I've done it 4 times in my career.

You're leaving SWA for gojet??? I'd try to make the wife see the light on that. If she won't maybe get a new wife. Seriously. You don't deserve that.

It can be done if you have experience in similar aircraft. Otherwise it's a goat-rope (trust me). I also would not do it on an airbus, or anything else really weird.

Hi all, could anybody answer the question I have in regards to 401k match, vacational accrual, and sick bank accrual included for the 1:1? Does that apply as well or only pay? Thanks.

I think I would be ham handed only flying in the sim and one or two IOE trips. Probably wind up getting some handling tips from some salty, eye rolling FO's.. :(
