I haven't been able to find it on here, what is the pay during training? Is it a min guarantee or a flat monthly payment?

#1. Don’t come here until we have a resolution to our multi year contract negotiation.
#2. Currently it is $38/hour with training pay min guarantee 75 hours/month.
#3. See #1.
Good luck

$39/hr at 75 hours. No hotels during training, and no per diem. Not to mention this AIP is about to get pushed off a cliff.

Stay away.

Thank you for the information. I would need the new contract in place to make it work! I've been watching from the outside for awhile and hope the language is there! Or it's able to be a quick fix if they vote it down.

The MEC votes in a few weeks. If they vote it down it *should* be a quick fix (assuming the company still wants a deal). If the MEC sends it out for a vote and the pilot group votes it down, it won’t likely be a quick fix as the MEC would probably be recalled and new elections would need to be held prior to negotiations resuming.

Please do not apply here until the contract passes.

If we vote it down, which we should, we need to maintain the only leverage we have. That leverage is the company not being able to fill new hire classes. If we get a mad rush of new applicants, our leverage is gone

We are most likely merging with Spirit based on one simple fact...the lawsuit. Why do you think Franke wants a contract all of a sudden? Most importantly why do they not care about having the lawsuit dismissed? I’ve heard the $75 million covers LOA67 but yet “the lawsuit is still there and we may get more money”. That’s BS. We will never see anymore money because the lawsuit will be null and void in less than 6 months.

Vote NO and demand $150 million, better pay and 15%!!! This can be settled in 30 minutes of negotiating and let all the verbiage of the TA remain the same.

If we merge with Spirit, who's ****ty contract do we get? Our new one, or theirs?

A new joint CBA will have to be negotiated between both MECs and the company before the two pilot groups can be integrated. At least that was the case with ASA and ExpressJet.

The MEC won't vote it down. are you naive enough to think they would even bring it to a vote without knowing how everyone thought about it?
