I was just making the point 121 time is 121 time no matter where you are at especially If you have TPIC. You made it sound like 121 time at SkyWest was somehow better than 121 time at F9. That’s all.
My point was that 121 time is 121 time, and you'll get PIC time at skywest (or most other regionals) faster than at F9, plus you'll get less drama. I have a bunch of very smart friends who, when faced with the requirement to regain recency *anywhere* before they would have their choice of almost any major/legacy, specifically chose skywest over spirit and/or frontier based on the lack of drama and utter predictability in how their progression would go. The reality of signing, checkout, 1 yr, and upgrade bonuses makes several regionals a better choice than F9 at this point.

What you're proposing is "low fares done right." Absolutely true, they would make a killing. My point is: that would take desire, thought, energy, risk taking, and airline (not private equity) businessmanship.

You're talking about what could be. I'm talking about what is. You're giving them the benefit of the doubt that once the current practice no longer works so well, they will suddenly change stripes and become something they are not. They simply don't have what it takes inside of them to do it.

As far as all the new airplanes coming? Just a bigger version of what I fear is here to stay.

As far as no pilots to fly them? We'll get a new contract, and it will be the minimal give they have to give to bring in just barely the required level of candidate with the necessary training potential to operate the aircraft safely.
I agree with what you’re saying about the contract. My point is that with every second that passes, Indigo is missing out on the opportunity for long money.

And there must be a reason for it other than lack of foresight. I don’t think they’ll be owners much longer...

It's the only thing that makes sense. They artificially increase the perceived value of the airline, cash the check and (hopefully) move on to the next victim.

To all you pilots looking to come here, be advised that our aircraft cleaners just got a raise. They now make more picking up after our passengers than you do flying the jet. Priceless.

Well, at least they are paying somebody! How much was their raise? Maybe now our planes will be clean? Ha ha

I am happy for the aircraft cleaners.

How much is flying the jet worth? What about the other jet? What about the APU? It's a jet too. What about left turns? Does the aileron that goes up pay more than the aileron that goes down? All important questions.

Welp, time to jump in the reciprocating and head to the airport.

Not sure I follow your rhetoric.

Maybe it’s time for them to put the lipstick on this Pig 🐷 - maybe an IPO or sale is coming soon.

They’re gonna make some cash though. Instead of an hourly wage - they’re being paid per wad of gum they scrape up. They’ll be making Biffle bucks $$$$

Hey, remember back in 2014 it was the cleaners at Frontier kept the US safe from an Ebola outbreak three years ago. They assured the world that the "thorough" cleaning after the Cleveland to Dallas flight sanitized the plane.

Frontier jet that carried Ebola patient made five more flights - Los Angeles Times

Don’t come here honestly. Why would anyone in the last year come work for a pilot group that is trying to strike? What other lines will you cross to get out of that RJ or 135 operation???
