This thread is getting depressing, fast!!!

I am sure Frontier is giving bonuses to the board members for being last or close to last in every category when it comes to quality of an airline

It's more relevant now than it was before. We are past due. That's the whole point.

Can we get new landyards for 2018 with flashing led lights so it really gets managements attention?

Does anyone really think mgt cares about what lanyards we are wearing? If so we would have had a contract by now if mgt was concerned about everyone wearing orange lanyards.

They can't see over all the cash rolling in anyway to see what we are wearing!!

I just like them because at least some of our gate agents pick up I’m a pilot when I’m listing for the jumpseat instead of trying to always stick me in the galley.

Is that all it took - the new year rolling through?

You say your unity hasn't subsided but you're not going to wear the lanyard? I would conclude that your unity HAS subsided just by opting not to do so anymore. We're not even close to any sort of agreement or cooling off period or whatever and already you have waned from following instructions.

The union, YOUR union has asked you to wear the lanyard. They didn't tell you to wear it until the new year or until they got new ones or until you felt like it. They asked you to wear it until you got a contract (or they tell you otherwise). Of course, no one can make you but if all mgt has to do to get you to not follow directions from your union is to take longer than you're willing to wait, this will be a much easier battle for them to win.

I mean - we're talking about a simple instruction from your Union to wear a simple lanyard.

It's amazing how little resolve some of us pilots show yet are the very ones who complain about change not coming quick enough...smh

Ok, I'm not sure if you can tell, but I'm ex-military. My above post was my attempt at being politically correct and not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings.

Below is what I really wanted to message to you:

Listen, you lil whiny-a$$ BEOTCH! It's not that f&*king difficult. You're a pilot, or so I'm told, so you KNOW how to follow directions. I'm gonna give this to you once more since you've already been told but apparently either aren't smart enough to comprehend or are just too dayum stubborn to realize you're a part of something bigger than your own simple reality here...PUT THE DAYUM LANYARD ON and KEEP IT ON. I don't care if it's red, green, blue and half of it is orange and pick checkered with Christmas lights on it and is outdated. WEAR IT. Because people greater than yourself have told you to. Wear it everywhere. Where it to work. Wear it at the grocery store. Wear it to the movies, to bed, when you make love to your wife. WEAR THE DAYUM THING. I do. My wife loves it...

Now, if I see you without it on, I will take a bag of lanyards and cram them where the sun don't shine. You feel me DAWG?

So go find it, dust it off, report to work and shut the F^&k up!

Gary, I hope you know, this is a joke...this thread could use some levity

Is $39 correct for starting pay? That's like $2000 a month take home.

Wow if this whole flying thing doesn’t work out you could be a financial planner. Thanks for the useful info.
