Attrition has been very minimal. Frontier has very much been a quality of life airline for guys who live in Denver. As long as Denver is the only big domicile, I dont think we will see much more than a trickle of attrition. Especially as the pay is snapping back to pre bankruptcy levels soon, and then hopefully a higher paying contract shortly after that. If, however, Frontier was able to open up a few new domiciles, and some of them out East, I think there would be an increase in attrition for sure. The current route map includes focus cities in Cleveland, Washington Dulles, and Trenton, NJ.
As the contract is written right now, its very hard for the company to open more domiciles because of the amount of RSV coverage, open time that must be available and some other issues. The company will likely try to get some relief on those issues in order to open more pilot bases. It will take a new contract to do that, and we will likely be able to get a pay raise in exchange for that.
This is all just my opinion though. I am not aware of what FAPA is planning to do in the future. Just my 2cents

Does anyone have the pay rates they can copy here?
or go to aviation interviews at Airline Pilot Pay Rates if you have an account.
Thanks

Sorry - I only half answered your question. No risk of getting converted to early flying, because they can only add flying if you return to domicile within your reserve window (after 5pm/7pm). If return before then, you get at least 10 hours rest. If you get back much after 1pm, but before your reserve window, you're pretty much done for the day because by the time you get your 10 hours of rest, it'll be too late in the evening for them to use you. But then again, some of the redeye trips in the past have gone from the redeye to morning flying, but only for days 3 and 4 at the most.

What would the fo rates look like after they snap back to pre bankruptsy rates? When do they do that? What would rates look like after a new contract? I'm looking at the numbers back in mid 2000 and they were pretty good. thank you

Guys, I know for a fact that they will call people who only have the min hours.
Frontier's process is quite impressive.
They aren't calling based on any hourly formula or computer generated 'spit you out of the pile BS'. Actual people are looking at this stuff. If you get a call it is because A. your cover letter and/or resume struck a chord with them, and they want to meet you, B.Your F9 buddy's letter of rec struck a chord with them and they want to meet you, C. you got a silver bullet, or D. a combination of all of the above.
This is the way all hiring should be done. F9 is investing in people that will further their culture as well as pass training, and operate their aircraft well.
The one thing I hate about our industry is the "hoops" we must jump through to get hired at companies. "hoops" that have little to do with your abilities, or contributing personality.
There are no "hoops" here. The interview process is adept at figuring out your true intentions, and whether or not you're hard to sit next to for hours at a time. It is a fun and enlightening process. You will meet lots of Frontier pilots as well as other F9 personnel. You'll learn, by observation, more about F9 than you can imagine. The realness of their process is almost wile in it's practical sophistication. If you're the guy for the job, you will get it period. If you're not, you wont.
I'm not a koolade drinker either - I'm just thoroughly impressed with their hiring process, and I wish they would patent it and sell it for millions of dollars to all these other idiotic HR departments at other airlines.
If Frontier as a whole can embody the savvy & integrity that their current hiring process has there will be absolutely no stopping this airline going forward.

I think F9 is a good company, it's just too bad the pay scale is, what it is, and not something more. Maybe it will be in the future.
