Whatever, no one seems to have the ability to quantify that claim. And they did do it for free...for a long time...and that is quantified.

I seriously doubt that. Positive space travel, hotel, a nice dinner, and MAYBE a trip drop does not equal "Pay"...

Not sure why this keeps coming up, I have flown with multiple recruiters and pilots who conduct interviews.
They have all said the same thing, you get 4 hours of pay per day.
Additionally I have been here over a year and have yet to fly with a single captain who taxis single engine.
This may not be everyone's experience, but this has been mine.
This group is pised and has a ton of contempt for the current management.

If only there was another thread (like Frontier Negotiations or F9 Public Offering) where this info could be discussed/stored, instead of using the Frontier Hiring thread as a catch all for every bit of information we find...

Trying to get on
Hello everyone Mesa FO here. About to apply to frontier. Need some incite on the QOL. I already know you are going through contract negotiations. Outside of that which I know will fix itself (hopefully) can someone PM me and give me real insight on the company. I don't mind giving out my number. I know it's sometimes easier to explain through voice. I hear there is a job fair coming up and will attend.

So I'm coaching at my son's lax practice this morning and this other team's coach comes up to me and asks if I'm a F9 pilot. I said yes, how did you know? He said that he saw my whistle lanyard (I use an extra orange ALPA one), then asked me if I could get him one because he's a United pilot. I said yeah, sure, but why?
He then said that he really couldn't wear it to work, so he would tie it around his bag handle. He said we are all ALPA and we should all stick together. I gave him the one I had on.

Not getting political here - just a question.
There are only two current board members on the NMB, one Rep, one Dem (right?) Trump will appoint another who will undoubtedly be republican.(right?)
Should we be at all concerned that a majority republican NMB would not release us?
Although - I did read on Wikipedia the longest standing member of the board, Harry Hoglander was a pilot at TWA, and MEC chairman at one point, as well as an officer at ALPA national. If he is the republican on there now (appointed in 2002), I'd say his credentials trump his party. So that bodes well.

Frontier Group Holdings Inc. FRNT parent of Frontier Airlines, filed to go public Friday. The company filed for an offering of $100 million, which is likely a placeholder amount. Frontier reported net income of $200 million in 2016, up from $146 million. It reported total operating revenue of $1.7 billion in 2016, up from $1.6 billion in 2015. Frontier had filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and came out of bankruptcy in October 2009 after it was acquired by a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings Inc. Indigo Partners LLC acquired the company in 2013. Citigroup, Deutsche Bank Securities, Evercore ISI and J.P. Morgan are the lead underwriters on the offering.

Now for the Recruiters screwing your peers. BS again! I would rather have online pilots interviewing candidates than having only management people doing it. Try to keep the Frontier culture intact the best we can.
I have not heard ALPA ask any Pilot recruiters/interviewers to cease from recruiting/interviewing.
Listen to your union and don't do anything stupid. End game is in sight. It just taks some time unfortunately.
