I don't work there yet. Interviewing soon. Making a tough choice between shorter commute or more money to stay put. Even a breakdown of percent up the list to hold days off like 15-17 if that's possible. Also average line credits. I know it is a lot to ask. I understand if it's a PITA.

Denver: April Bid: Avg. line credit 76:35, Avg. Days off 15.1, Block/Duty 5:09, 14.2% 1 day trips, 9.4% 2 day, 25.6% 3 day, 50.8% 4 day. I do not have access to the Denver awards sorted nicely in seniority order so someone else will have to help you with what % up the list to hold a 15 day off line.

Me too. I was pretty anti-ALPA 18 months ago, but voted yes, and haven't regretted it for a second.

It's not a job action provided you were doing the same thing a year or two ago.

With our track record of following the system and expecting justice be done do you really want to spend time in court arguing over the meaning of, "putting safety first, flying the contract, and not doing anything whatsoever to help the company"?

work-to-rule Definition in the Cambridge English Dictionary

a form of protest in which employees do exactly what is stated in their contracts, and nothing more, in order to slow down production : A work-to-rule is seen as a way to protest against low pay or bad working conditions.
Industrial action where, in contrast to a strike, workers do not withdraw their labor. Instead, they stay on their jobs but drastically slow down the operations by punctilious adherence to a narrow interpretation of work rules included in the collective bargaining agreement.

Vegas? Phoenix?
Just went through recurrent. JC came in and talked. Obviously didn't say where definitively but hinted at likely this year. Definitely said west coast time zone. Need to see aircraft sitting RON for at least 6-8 hours overnight to complete heavy checks. Base would also be MX base. Want someplace to be able to work on aircraft 365 days, no hanger, on ramp, decent weather. Used example of say "Sacramento" so we all wouldn't run out and say he said "Vegas" (his statement), as to what they are doing to test it out. Pilots are obviously last to know. Said it's easy for them regarding us. They announce it, hear it is, bid it. That's pretty much it. We'll see. My money is now on LAS.

Anyone recall how long it takes between the announcement of the new base and base being operational? I don't remember how it worked with MCO.

You got a link for that article?
