I'm sure this question has been asked before. Is there any way to remove the attachments from my profile? I would like to upload my most up to date resume.

This gets asked a lot - not sure there's ever been a good answer. I wouldn't worry too much about the online app / cover / res, as long as they're in there. Just take your updated resume to the job-fair.

I just don't get it. We are the lowest paid pilots. You have to sign a two year training bond. Schedules blow! Upgrade will be longer than the advertised 2 years unless they open a Philly base or something similar and we are only losing 2 to 3 pilots a month on average.

I guess there are enough guys disenfranchised with their current company to keep filling up classes!

I've seen a lot of guys with corporate backgrounds looking to move into a "lower tier" major to break into 121 and leapfrog the regionals. On a pure schedule-to-schedule basis, a bad 121 schedule usually beats a good 135 schedule any day. Can't speak to the pay and training bond, other than maybe it's looked at as the cost of doing so.

Believe me when I say that I understand balking at the price, but it is well worth the investment. You're investing in a multi-million dollar career (yes, even at Frontier with our current pay rates) and finding a way to beg, borrow, or steal the money to pay for prep will pay dividends.

Lori does a fantastic job, she's worth the price as are other interview prep services.

Probably worth it for a corporate guy trying to skip the CRJ experience. But only if they hire on at a major the day after the training contract expires....

Ask a 3 or 4 year FO at Expressjet if they want a job at Frontier. The answer will be yes. The big regionals that don't have an automatic flow thru are totally stagnant due to them shrinking as 50 seat RJs get parked. Express jet has an 8 year upgrade still. They have well over 1000 FOs with no upgrade in sight. Why wouldn't they come here?

Add to that guys who just want one of our domiciles, or are coming from 135 operations. I don't think our applicant pool is as dry as you think.

Even 8 year Fo's would give Frontier a shot if they actually paid well first year (with lodging included).

The training contract sucks, but it also wouldn't be a deal breaker if the starting pay was raised.

I agree that as long as people continue to show up to class, the applicant pool will continue to be filled.

Getting a respectable starting wage at Frontier however, will be a long shot if that keeps up.

F9 really likes to hire XJT (ERJ) guys and gals. About 1/3 of every newhire class is former XJT. FWIW.

I thought the same thing. They just stopped updating the number next to you. However if you look closely at the Seniority list you will notice it skips numbers. 869 to 871, etc. To get a real time view go onto Flica, VSA "submit bid" and look at the top left. That is your actual global number. You can also change the drop down to "ALL" to see everyone's number and where you fit in. So yes, we have been losing people at about 5 a month. I moved up 4 just in the last few weeks! 15 since they last updated that list correctly on the Flight Ops page about 3 months ago.
