Frontier Hiring.

Aside from the SWA stuff, Ichigo nailed it. The supposed "culture" at frontier doesn't make up for the $70 - $90 an hour we don't make that our fellow airbus operators make. Most people are nice at frontier but that doesn't buy my kid a new set of braces. The culture at my last regional was just the same. You won't find some magical culture here that justifies our garbage contract and pay rates.

Do you guys on the outside honestly think we are happy with our contract? Holy Hey-sus! We are bound by our current contract until we go the through the legal negotiating process. If you're too retarded to understand the position we are in from the wealth of information on this thread, please go the ******* away and don't apply here.
The problem we have is enforcement of the current language and keepin the turds at the GO from doing whatever they damn well please. The previously mentioned dude is prob just bandwagon-slamming...but as I said, if you know the contract, you know it's not that bad. That being said, our current mgmt has zero power (read they are order takers from Indigo), zero integrity, and not a lick of respect from a single guy on the seniority list (minus a few willing to shortsightedly take Asst CP positions)
Don't come to Frontier, don't fall for their BS promises at LaGuardia recruiting events, and if you're here....polish up your apps and take the initiative to make your life better!!! There's a whole world of opportunity out there where you'll be respected and compensated like the professional you are. Complacency is enemy #2, right behind 7001 Tower Rd.

The dude above you claims our current contract is "garbage." I personally disagree. Do our abysmal pay rates suck the sweat off furry giraffe balls??? Oh hell yes, but our contract in its entirety is not too bad (vaca, sched flexibility, drop/swap/trade, etc.) However, those niceties do not pay the bills.

If you think we have good work rules, good on you for selling yourself out. I hope you are not on our NC.
Yes, we have a "garbage" contract. It was written long ago when we were Denver centric and worked with a friendly management. It's a very poorly worded document, even without the huge holes, which makes it easy for the Indigo types out there to walk all over it. So yeah, our contract sucks no matter how well versed you are with it.
If you want to slam Indigo, go for it. But don't use my post incorrectly as a launching board to scare people away.
It's already a no brainer.

You will notice, motorboatin', my post is in reference to the idea of Frontier's culture will somehow override a bad contract and bad pay. Everything you elaborated had nothing to do with my response. But since you attempted to put words in my mouth, I'll be happy to respond to you.

You misinterpreted me Mugatu. I was referencing the person that you had quoted. Sorry my post struck a chord with you. I stand by what I said, but it's my opinion and that only. You'll be pleased to know I'm not a Fapa member, but I stand by them and support their efforts 100%.
I don't think you even work at F9!

Hey fellas I have that 15 mins time slot with a Frontier recruiter this coming Friday
Any tips ?
5000 TT
1200 PIC jet
One more advice, I'll be finishing a 4 day trip that day at my current job so there is no room on my bag for a whole suit and tie extra clothing
You guys think is ok If i show up on uniform or casual (long sleeve button up)
Sorry I haven't had a real enterview in 8 years
Looking forward to land the job
