Of course they asked you about volunteer work. They want to make sure you will be OK with it at Frontier once they hire you!! Your whole first year is basically volunteer work!!

With that said, I still think Frontier is a great place to work. It will only get better as we realize LOA 67, a SnapBack, and a new contract. Our day is coming.

Speaking of LOA 67, any new rumors on the arbitration process?

I assumed that is what the $10 Dia food gift coupon was in place of?
It went straight into the trash

Ha, I haven't flown in a few weeks so I haven't checked my v file. Is that really what's in there for us?

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this but...

I though it was a nice gesture from the CPO for getting stuck working on the holiday. I'm as ****ed at management as the next guy, and something like could never buy any reprieve in my contract expectations, but I'll still give credit where it is due.

At the very least the trash was a lame place for it. I'm sure a first year, $36/hr FO would have appreciated a free meal, or hell...grab a burrito and drop it off to homeless person on the way home. JMHO.

NO REFLECTION OF THEIR TRAINING DEPARTMENT!!!!! THEY ALWAYS WERE GREAT, more of a reflection on the lowering of minimums and hiring candidates they may not have hired in the past when more people wanted to go there.

Lowering minimums? What minimums have been lowered?
Frontier has higher minimums than United.

I think the former Skywest FO you are referring to just got awarded the title of Chief Pilot in MCO. I know him, and apparently he made an good impression in the "5 minutes" he has been here at F9. And apparently you DID NOT make a good impression in your "5 minutes" during your interview. I've had A.L. as my FO, and I haven't got a bad thing to say about him.

A couple things Super Captain,

1) Nice D bag move by posting his initials. I also know him well and I can tell you that wouldn't be appreciated.

2) I did make a good impression, I've been here a while now. Nice try.

3) I think I remember flying with you, and your love of the SE taxi.

Now enjoy your night, drink some more Koolaid, and please share some of your enlightening posts.
