WARNING, Frontier is starting to hire more "less desirable" pilots with the thought that they will be washed out during training.
The example I was given was hire 30 and plan to get 20 through, that means apx 10 go home with a failed 121 event on their record and likely no job to go back to since they resigned to go there. CAUTION if you go there.

First off, I don't see much evidence that we hire SkyWest pilots. We hire a particular attitude. Your experience is what lands you the interview and your personality is what wins you the job. It's that simple.
Show up prepared, well studied, well informed, be engaging with everyone, work the room, and never ever touch the cell phone. All of this is common sense for anyone who really understands the value of the First Impression.
You wont get asked about volunteer experience or any other BS that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. You will get asked "Why Frontier" and don't give a canned answer.
Best of luck to all.

You must be the recruiter i talked with. You were the one who said LCC was the future and that the legacies better watch out! Well one thing I can attest to is that Frontier is indeed selecting candidates with less than steller qualifications because they talked with lowly First Officer me and I feel an interview invite is imminent. Pilot shortage is officially here. Believe that player!!
Translation: I didn't get hired.

Need some advice from Orlando folks. I'm headed there and am looking to buy a simple condo for myself to use as a crash pad, part time residence of sorts. Trying to stay between 60-90k. Can anyone recommend/discourage any areas/zip codes? Im Looking at a few in 82839, Americana blvd and 423 area.

This is my first post on APC. That part of town is a bit seedy, but if you're looking at the condos at Park Central I think those are decent. It's a gated community with a lot within the gates and a Publix right around the corner. I drive for Uber while I'm sitting reserve down here and I've dropped off there several times. From the outside I was impressed. You don't have to go far from there to be in a less than desirable part of town.
