If you are desperate to move on/live in one of our bases I'd consider it. The training contract doesn't help your situation. My guess is that it isn't really legally enforceable and management is betting on people just paying it. The "two year upgrade" smells and sounds like what our CEO probably punishes his toilet with multiple times a day.
Buyer Beware!

2 years and 8 months. Since the company likes to round numbers we can call it a 3 year upgrade.

Thanks for the info! Not desperate by no means. Exploring my opinions & trying to look down the road. Maybe a new TA would make Frontier a very decent place to work... How bout commuting from DFW to DEN or ORD? Good? Bad? Thanks again!

I've never done it, but I've heard from a couple people that DFW-ORD is surprisingly easy.

Go to aviationinterviews.com and pay the $15 or whatever it is to get full access. Everything you need to know about the interview process is there. Very comprehensive.

Someone mentioned a while back that ground school is in the sim building and a rental car/taxi would be required to get from the hotels ...is that still the case? Also, how many months can a new hire expect to be in training from day 1 to IOE? Roughly. Thanks
