Frontier Hiring.

Is it just me or does F9 seem like not the place to be at anymore. Management imposing a 2 year contract, saying we are second tier pilots, and to expect 4 years of negotiations. Ignoring LOA67, while paying pilots crapy wages. In short, it seems the only message to send is for all of the FOs and Jr Capt to try and get a job at a legacy.

When I came to F9 I had high hopes, but the reality is that management is implementing regional tactics, in short we are racing to the bottom rather than the top.
I'm willing to bet that management drags LOA67 as long as possible or will simply ignore in lieu of contract negotiations. The new contract will be in place no earlier than 4 years at best, regardless of what we try as a pilot group. The regionals have proven that you can have 8 years worth of talk with no progress. You see management not really negotiating at the moment.
The only hope would be to be sold to a major carrier, which I believe it's extremely unlikely. A merger with Spirt will yield same results as current. If you as a pilot at F9 are happy to get Spirit current wages, then you are selling yourself short.
Maybe I'm missing something, but why would anyone stay here unless super senior?? Frontier could be an awesome career airline, but it just isn't and I do see it becoming that. Not a pessimist, but a realist.

It doesn't get any clear. If you don't have your app at the big 3 you are selling yourself short. There is no fast upgrades here and even if they were you would make more money at United year 3 than any seat at F9, plus a better pension and you can hold Denver sooner than you will ever dream in the left seat at F9.

I'd say 80% of our pilots under 40 are ready to leave for other airlines if the phone rings. If like myself you are pursuing other options your opportunity will come. In the meantime don't stress and enjoy the schedule flexibility and Airbus legroom.

Also, historically speaking, if legacy furloughs ever happen again, they could go deep, and a guy could find himself re-applying back here. Course times have changed I know. Curious to get you guys' thoughts on that.
