Totally an irrelevant question EJ the new hires are not investors and this thread has to do with new hiring. If you get interviewed and hired there might be opportunities in the future for you personally to invest in the airline but the current FAPA Invest group would not be applicable to you if you were hired.

Good luck to you and everyone else hoping to get hired here.

I doubt that...

Noseums, you might find an answer on the airbus website. Can't open it on my phone to say for sure

Thanks. The spreadsheet data shows the next delivery will be an A320 on June 21, 2014 to Aviation Capital Group (Frontier Airlines). Beyond that there's nothing listed specifically for Frontier. It does show Republic's 2011 order of 20 A319s and 60 A320s, but no delivery dates are listed. I believe that I read Indigo will pay Republic for the deposits on those orders. I think those are all NEO aircraft though and may be years away still?

Anywho, just trying to get an idea of where planes are going to come from if they are intending to grow.

I think you may hear something official by Halloween, expect to be disappointed if you want something negative. The gents at FAPAInvest did a great job preserving our ROI.

There is no published delivery schedule as the Frontier NEOs are the first to be fitted with the GE GTF (LEAP X) vs the Pratt GTF (GECAS gave concessions to RAH in the 2011 restructuring and their quid was the GE engine contract). The LEAP X is about a year behind the PW engine.

All of the news about "doubling the fleet" is BS. Most if not all of the F9 319 leases are near term and the original NEO order was touted as a replacement order. F9 will not replace every airframe on property with a NEO but it will be mostly a replacement order.

With that being said we have 80 orders and 54 aircraft to replace. I would be amazed if we didn't merge with another LCC by the time we take deliver of a quarter of the order.

We also have A LOT of FO's leaving. New hires today have a pretty good opportunity along with a sizable risk.

Any new news here lately? Are new hires all going to DEN? What is the pay situation, during traing and afterward, had heard rumor that pay rates may be on rise soon, any validity to that?

New hires are paid during training. Paid 1st year pay of around 37/hour and at 75 hours per month. Pretty standard

No housing during training. You are considered to be DEN based as a new hire.

Of the 12 guys in the first class, 5 got DEN and 7 got Chicago. As the second class comes online in about a month, I assume most of the first class will get back to DEN.

Plans are to hire just over 100 FOs and upgrade around 40 guys in the next 12 months

Someone asked about the possibility of a pay raise. I don't see that happening. The contract is still good until 2015, so I can't imagine a pay raise until after 2015
