I have 17 days off this month and will be at 79 hrs of credit with one redeye.....and I traded into it on purpose. I have been here less than a year.

Leslie - I'll be interested to hear your report on June once you get it ironed out the way you like it. Honest request - no sarcasm.

The grim customer complaint situation is a BIG deal. I hope the leadership shakedown is more than just symbolic, and they seriously intend to deal with this problem NOW.

The level of customer service at Denver has plummeted! I'm seeing it with my own eyes every day! We all know why too, and as bad as I feel for them, what's done is done, we can't un-ring the 'outsource' bell on this one, but we'd better figure out a way to make it ring well, and STAT!

I have never had less than 16 days off at Frontier since I held a line after 2 months of Reserve last spring. I usually have 17 or 18 off! Even if the hard line starts at 12 days off, you can trade and make it 16-18 easily. I am usually at 75 hrs to accomplish this, but could get better credit too if I wasnt a commuter.

Above post aside however, it would be nice if more of the lines simply started with 16-20 days off, and we didn't have to "work" i.e. swap/drop/trade, to get our schedules there. Things like additional credit for Red Eye flying, 5+hr min day, 2:1 or better Duty Rig are needed to accomplish this, and are just some of things we should be looking for in our next contract.

Our schedules suck and every month they get worse. This is coming from an 8 year FO. For you guys who think the schedules are good, you should have seen them back in the day. 3 on, 4 off was easy.

I shouldn't have to be a FLICA whoore to get the schedule I want. For those of us who have spouses that work, it is hard to adjust your schedule.

If you don't care what days off you get, you can modify your schedule easier.

No one is making the argument that our schedules are good! How could we with a 13 day off line average for June in DEN. Protections certainly need to be put into place that prevent our average days off from falling so low, but this contract simply wasn't built with the amount of red eyes that we currently fly in mind. Red eyes are a necessary evil on our road to profitability IMO. I'm simply saying that we DO have excellent scheduling language that lets us tailor our schedules however we want. My wife works a full-time job as well, with days off that change monthly. I get every single one of her days off, every month, and I bid in the middle of the pack in DEN. I don't find it that hard to navigate MOT, DOT, Flica Alerts, ect.

I believe an eventual merger between frontier and spirit is very likely. It will not be in the near future, however. Frontier will IPO before a merger, and that's still some time off.

Meh... You could argue it either way. Our CEO resigned, VP of Flight Ops is returning to the line, Director of Training is returning to the line, the company halted the new uniforms changes for Flight Attendants, you can't book tickets on Frontier beyond 10/20/2015, etc.. Everything appears to be lining up for a merger. The assumption that they need to IPO for Indigo to make money was planted. That could still happen, but Indigo could have bought Frontier simply for a portfolio write-down and still make a killing via a merger. Either way they have set themselves up to win.

End of the day- best thing that can happen here is to merge with someone. We need to be big to make it long term.

So what does a Spirit merger look like? How does seniority shake out? Who's branding gets tossed? Please don't make me say Spiritwings on the radio
