Seems like a good amount of people getting calls are either close to upgrade or just upgraded at a regional and can't decide whether they would take the job or not. I'd take it in a hearbeat, but I want to work for a LCC and my situation is different than others.
Either way, good luck to everyone interviewing this week! Keep us posted!

"This is not factually correct. F9 has never filled a vacancy pursuant to the Eischen Award. F9 hired several pilots (some of which resigned their seniority and some that did not resign their seniority) prior to The Award being issued. We have not hired anyone since The Award. F9 did have a Voluntary Staffing Adjustment (MKE closed, CHI opened) and those vacancies were NOT filled according to The Award, they were filled according to the F9 CBA (DOH seniority). "
"The Eischen Award doesn't apply to hiring."
Zoooropa, I have a question about the statement you made above. If F9 has never filled a vacancy pursuant to the Eischen Award then how did the Midwest pilots get IMSL seniority at F9? I may have my dates wrong but I thought the IMSL was published first then the
staffing adjustment that resulted in the Midwest pilots coming over and the other RAH pilots that resigned their seniority. Thanks.

You seem to have some serious gaps in your knowledge of events.. I believe the majority of true F9 pilots are intimately aware of Every step of Our history, as it relates to the imsl, and the famous 'Midwest 8" ...
There are better places to fill your memory gaps than this board.

That makes two of us, Rocky. That's how I remembered the timeline as well, and I thought it was a valid question, but evidently I'm not a 'true' F9 pilot either. (I sure did have those passengers fooled though...and the TSA...and perhaps most important, the F9 payroll dept.)
