Frontier Hiring.

I guess the truth hurts.
Just stating that based on their current situation and no growth in sight, F9 is a dead end. No sour grapes no bitterness just stating FACTS that you are in a state of denial about.

Is there any chance of getting around the 500 PIC requirement? I was hired at my current carrier a while ago very low time and haven't been able, no is there an opportunity in sight, to break that barrier. I'd love to be there but not sure what the best way to go about it is.

yeah....they have 50 airplanes with 80 on order. upgrade is probably less than 3 years. you would be stuck the entire time you are there flying with a great group of pilots. even though the pay is low right now, their contract is phenomenal. soooo.....yeah......i guess you're right rock star. i can't imagine why you would bother posting something like this? i can tell you from recent experience, f9 isn't an easy interview to pass. i can also say it is designed to eliminate people like you which it probably already did.
It's not the pilots fault. I just said things worked out a hell of a lot better for me by F9 turning me down.
I am just telling it like it is based on what has been happening to your company as a whole and you cannot accept it.
I have nothing against the pilots at F9 nor have I said anything derogatory towards them. So grow up children.

Here come the insults. Sorry to make you kiddies cry. F9 has had 50 planes for over a decade. 80 on order don't mean squat.

Sammy, you need to get your facts straight before you post on here about Frontier, otherwise it makes you look uninformed, out of touch, and frankly not very smart. No need to hate Frontier for not hiring you. Lots of good pilots don't make it through the process, and almost none of the bad ones do. Its not a stepping stone airline, and they are starting to take great strides in weeding out the pilots that intend to use it as such.
Frontier is growing at a rate greater than any time in their 24 years of existence. I think the plan is to hire 200-ish in 2015 and continue at a similar rate indefinitely. They are bringing on new A-320s and new A-321s at a record pace and that doesn't even address the 80 NEO order. It has the potential to be a great place to work if they can keep the wheels on the bus through the transition to ULCC and when we get our contract.

I hope for all those things you say happen. Right now you just sound like you are reciting a brochure.
We are getting this and we are getting that is all talk. Believe it when you see it.

So floating this axiom to support your argument is meaningless. We can only go on what we have immediately in front of us, and right now there is a ton of money at stake and behind Frontier to strike out in an untapped yet proven market.
All things considered the projections look very good, as do things for the Big 3 with all the retirements looming. But again, in EVERY case, we'll all have to 'see it to believe it'.

You're right Sam - what you spell out here is the chief axiom of the airline industry. Therefore this truth is equally applicable for EVERY company.
