Just hired
For those interested in applying:
I never filled out an application online, however I did attend the job fair in January at DFW with Aerocrewsolutions.com. After a brief chat and a look-over of my resume, they offered an interview date. I suspect this is their prime way to get interviewees.
After an awesome interview experience, I am extremely excited about being hired. I was very impressed by the quality of people- not just the people in the hiring process (who were awesome, btw), but also the pilots on the flight up and the pilots I ran into at the hotel. Everyone was so positive! What an awesome time to join!

i finally got my official letter of hire a couple days ago. i guess that means my background check came through. class date for me on the 6th of april!!!
as it stands, i am going to be driving up to denver a couple days beforehand. i am looking for a room to rent. if someone has a line on something or can check the crew room message board for a lead or two, i would really appreciate it.

If you have 10,000 hours TPIC, half of them in an Airbus, 6 type ratings and a PhD, but you either seem like a douche, sound like an idiot, or allow your nerves to utterly sabotage you, what do you think is going to happen?
If you have the bare minimums but are excited to be there, in command of your nerves, friendly, sincere, prepared, and present yourself in the very best way you can, what do you think is going to happen?

Are the new hires still getting split between DEN and ORD? I heard that the new folks are slowly getting shifted to all ORD, is that true? And if that's the case, how long would it take to hold Denver? I miss Colorado terribly....

As a Capt, I hate to say it, Dream on buddy for a DEN base any time soon (relatively speaking for when your upgrade comes.). There are sooooo many upgrades that are having to leave for ORD, not to mention when we open the next base, it will just take forever to get people back. I can definitely see people never being able to get back to DEN, depending on the age you are at at upgrade.
There is my long-winded OPINION of an answer. But, Congrats on the job! It is great to see so many excited people, just like myself, that are coming here!
