Frontier Hiring.

I was also part of the guys that were not hired in Philly on Wednesday. Air Force veteran, Degree, two type ratings, 6000 hours and I did work the ramp for Continental Airlines back in the day. I would have had no problem staying put at F9 and finishing my career with the airline. I went to the FLL job fair on Nov 7th and was offered the Philly interview. I have nothing but good things to say about the F9 people I met at both the job fair and interview. It was very upsetting to not get the offer at the end of the day. Good group of people over at F9.

I know a gentleman in my class who interviewed 3 times before he finally got hired - he's a great guy and a walking testament to perseverance.
I really have no idea if F9 is likely to call a candidate for a second try or if they give points for perseverance. I hope they do. Any thoughts insiders?
In the old days - like at WN - it almost seemed like a pre-requisite to interview twice - few were hired on the first try. Of course it's a different climate now - thankfully!
Keep your chin up gents! There's something great out there for you - life is not random (my belief and I'm sticking to it.)

I got a new hire F/A at Frontier saying she is told a PHX base is in the future according to other co-workers. Is this the standard rumor mill from the FA's or is there actually any weight behind this?

Crazy thought, but maybe, just maybe, management should create an incentive for good people not to leave.
We're weeding out qualified, honest candidates, and of the "new hires", we're already losing good people. The company line of "we know you're under-compensated" is hollow without action. I suggest a Christmas bonus. 🌲

He's listed as a reference. He was my primary fight instructor, mentor, and best friend. He tells me at least once a year his biggest mistake in life was picking eastern over Piedmont In 1982. His dad was retiring twa at the time and said he'd be an idiot to take Piedmont, because there would always be an eastern airlines. I told them this at the interview. I'm not at all heart set on United, I see massive potential with frontier. I'd have rolled the dice if hired and went with it. Oh well.

It was a pleasure to meet you as well. I thought we had a strong group of guys that interviewed that day and everybody got along great from the beginning. Most certainly would have been a fun new hire class to go to bat with. Regardless, it was a good experience, good people and maybe a few lessons learned along the way. Tailwinds!

I know they can't hire everyone, but I really do feel badly for the good guys that truly want to be here but somehow fail to get the nod.
