Frontier Hiring.

I spoke with Kim in HR recently and she mentioned that based on when I applied I should get a call for interviews next month. She mentioned something about pilot workshops in Chicago or Cleveland...does that mean they will be doing interviews at one of those two locations?

They've been doing that since (at least) last year when the current round of hiring started. I formed two theories to possibly explain it:
1: They have the mechanism in place and are considering implementing such a contract; mentioning it during the interview puts everyone "on notice," so if & when they pull the trigger on applying a training contract, no one can complain "I didn't know" or otherwise avoid it....
and/or
2: The idea of a contract sticks in people's minds. As has been mentioned multiple times in this thread, F9 is very sensitive to people leaving for other airlines. For the cost ($0) of mentioning a contract during the interview, if even one pilot decides to stick around beyond when he might otherwise leave, that's a "win" for the company....
Bottom line: I don't know, either, and I wonder the same thing as you....

In other words a way to flush people out.

Lots of growth in the future and none of it will be denver, it will be "east" of denver.

F9 instituted the training contract for a short time because they are so incredibly cheap forcing a pilot to remain on property for 1 year. Once they realized they were acting like a ****ty commuter airline, they stopped it.
