They kind of sound like a Scott Kirby echo chamber. Theres lots of incorrect info in their podcast. Like, a whole lot. They also seemed to have a bias toward wanting us to fail. But there are indeed some very large problems currently. The CNBC video in this thread does a better job conveying those problems.
Long story short, our airline is not a good value to travel currently. IMO too many delays and cancelled flights. Way too many. Somebody near the top should have been fired a while ago.

That one I can atleast understand. When you depend on ancillary revenue to bring in profit you had to find a way to get gate agents to actually do their job. The lack of clear and defined policy or oversight was pretty dumb though agreed. Besides the DOT rules I can see why just going to a bundle package is easier. Maybe even more profitable.

The walk from TSA to the gates is solid 10min, without kids or any stops. We will be leaving pax behind at an even higher rate then currently.

There isn't enough staffing for single door boarding jet bridges...... now front and back. Not to mention only certain tampers are "qualified " to move the switchback ramp monstrosity. An wheelchairs 🙄......

a boulder co franchise. Good but it will not work if in a hurry- they are short staffed with 2 South Park characters working there. Also a bar and grill and Hudson with everything sold out. BYO food. I’d say maybe 100 seats at any given gate and if you have 200 pax- a lot of standing around. Bathrooms are small and not enough toilets. It will look like a U.N. Refugee camp when it’s busy. I’m not tryin g to Dis the idea. It can work but it will be very problematic on even a good day.
I’d maker a million a month selling bottled water , tequila shots, PBJs and cheese sandwiches. I’m not kidding.

There’s a sandwich place called snarfs-
a boulder co franchise. Good but it will not work if in a hurry- they are short staffed with 2 South Park characters working there. Also a bar and grill and Hudson with everything sold out. BYO food. I’d say maybe 100 seats at any given gate and if you have 200 pax- a lot of standing around. Bathrooms are small and not enough toilets. It will look like a U.N. Refugee camp when it’s busy. Ya those problems and just the claustrophobic feel of the terminal will get much worse when delays start piling up and there is nowhere to go.
