Default E-3 Visa

I noticed Frontier is not accepting FO applications on Airline Apps but are still accepting E-3 visa applications. One of the requirements for the program is they must show the position can not be filled by a qualified US citizen. Just seemed odd.

The company has paused the E3 program for new applicants, they may have just forgotten to suspend the Airline Apps posting or maybe anticipate resuming hiring in the not too distant future, so still collecting up CVs. Also the E3 visa is not a skills shortage visa, the visa is for Australian professionals in a speciality occupation who qualify and hold the appropriate experience and credentials for the position. It has nothing to do with US pilots being available or not, but I suspect the motivation was due to a lack of suitable applicants being available at the time.

Still looks to be open, as of now. But the E3 program is paused.

Employers must submit form ETA 3095 with proof there isn't qualified US citizens available for the job.

Quoted poster may not be a native English speaker themselves. Here is to hoping they can figure out the mistake they made in their post.

I would assume anyone fired up enough about E3s still being allowed to submit applications would contact the appropriate office overseeing the visa program to ensure they’re aware of a company’s illegal action(s).
