Those are all very valid questions. Like you I have wrestled trying to figure out which is the best path.

No group outside of the emerald palace cares about the survival of F9 as much as the pilots. They have more invested and more at stake….and management knows this. If the pilots stopped caring and only did the bare minimum, the operation would suffer greatly. Would that elicit change? Who knows.

The only path we know is the current - and we KNOW it's not the best. Are we just too afraid of change?

More importantly, could it get worse? Sure. But then maybe that's the point - it gets so bad that BB/BL are replaced (or directed to change).

Sooooooooo. Why is it on a turboprop? What am I missing here? Did we announce electric jets or something?

Frontier started a whole new airline to add the Q400 which turned out to be a big mistake. They should have just added the Q400 to the F9 operating certificate instead. They spent a fortune creating a new airline. It was one of the reasons Frontier went into bankruptcy. Eventually after the Republic buyout, the Q400s ended up going to one of the Relublic regionals but I don't remember which. After that Republic flew E190s with Frontier paint on them too. Those went away in maybe 2014.

A very long time ago there were even a few Frontier painted CRJs that I believe were operated by Horizon
