I think the bottom line for those running F9 is, can F9 afford to better their product? Can they afford not to? And what does that look like? We don't have the answer and it seems its a moving target they need to be on top of. We are spectators in all this but can suffer when they don't do well.

When will they figure out they just need to hire a few more people? It’s really not that difficult.

I am guessing there wouldn't have been a breach if they were allowed on when the doors should have been opened. This is the 2nd time in a few days we have gotten pax counts from gate agents more than 15 mins prior to push and they want us to get out.

Closed the doors on 4 people today 24 mins prior to departure and the gate agents only let 2 on and the other 2 went away with cops because there was a "breach in security".

I have been seeing this too. I get the count and have takeoff data 15 mins prior with a zero fuel weight indicating we are leaving a substantial number of passengers behind. Door must be getting shut at least 20 minutes early. How are other captains handling this? Siting in the seat and watching the disaster unfold or confronting it?
In the end, we are necessary wheels in a cog that they require to do something and people get paid more than us to figure this out. If it goes wrong, they will change it. Not our problem.

Well seeing what they want us to do... Just do it, let them deal with the repercussions.
