100% agree, but the fact that so many pilots carry this "leadership" on their backs by doing more than our peers at the legacies for less money does, in fact, cost you and I negotiating capital.

Everyone NEEDS to listen to the latest Five By Five podcast. Our management is bargaining in bad faith. The mediated negotiation process is moving forward in spite of our working against our own best interests every single day.

Historically profit sharing finds its way into a CBA because the company can't afford to pay what the employees want. Profit sharing doesn't come from the leadership wanting to allign our goals with theirs. That's just a byproduct of profit sharing.

That's why the NC needs teeth. Their most recent display of bargaining the SJU base was a waste of leverage. At least demand half what UA pilots get in Guam and not give in.

On a call with analysts and reporters, Delta CEO Ed Bastian sent a clear message to low-cost carriers: Slow your growth to end the oversupply of seats on domestic routes.”

Interesting statement from Bastian.
