Classes should resume August, from what I have heard from a few LCAs, they got told it was because of the rebasing and sim availability and we should expect a lot of upgrades and new hires going forward.
Also, F9 has secured extensions on leases and spare engines for our 321neos which means we will only see about 4 planes down for mx at a time due to the engine issues out of the 24 currently effected. (This was in an email sent to LCAs from CD a few days ago, It was shared in my class group chat)

The email said classes are still expected in August but they will evaluate it. I don’t see them running any large upgrade classes until you see at least two months of solid hiring again minimum. They are being cautious with Pratt issues developing and close to zero attrition.

The tone seemed to calm the rumors but staffing is not currently an issue so the company won’t rush to add pilots to the payroll. They staff the airline monthly and we’re rolling into the slow months. They will staff Nov Dec rush with premium and won’t need the numbers again until the spring break rush.

not apparent to me.. do we even have a July class? Everyone said july was cancelled. I see + 10 CA upgrades, no FO (no - either). Unclear to me if there is an FO class or not.
Last time there was +20 CAs and -10 FO, for a new hire class of 10 FO. Is it a given that if there was no new hire class, that we would see -10 FO slots?
Nice surprise if we're actually hiring FOs this month after all the chatter about july being scrapped.

When they hired 58 of us in April, the upgrades + 'new' FO slots = the new hire class size. Same for March. Unless I'm reading it wrong, the two should always equal out to 0.
Now you may be correct that the August class will backfill those CA upgrades, but that doesn't mean that the August class will be 10. Would imply a *minimum* of 10 to me. But it seems likely that it would be more. guess we'll find out in ~4 weeks.

I don't think this is correct.

The bid size is always the maximum number of incoming pilots for the next class.
