Could you point to a source on the 4-10k number? The simple flying source I posted in the P&W forum a while ago mentioned 2800 FC and a much much more detailed inspection process. If there is updated news that would definitely be welcome news. Last I saw we had 5 spare engines but know we were searching for more. I don’t have time to look up the actual AD currently to double check what it entails.

Also, we have 5-10 leased aircraft we are returning or we are extending 5-10 leases we intended to return? Either way it’s odd he wouldn’t know the exact number.

Yes, apparently the recruiters at LPA were telling people they would start interviewing for street FOs in January. Classes planned Sept - January at a minimum..

I think it's safe to say that hiring across the industry might be bouncing back in the near future. Business as usual for Delta and UA each, with AA folks allegedly saying end of year or January.

Good luck. They're looking for some turbine time (my friend of about ~800 turbine was told he was competitive).. Not quite the 3000-4000 ole Barry was talking about.

Thanks! That’s very helpful, it’s crazy to think that last year at the same event with those hours a pilot was competitive for United, I have my app in , I got a little less that 800 turbine so hopefully I’ll get at least an interview shot 🙏
