Other rumor from the school house, BL was in ground a week ago and saying that day turns were not working and that they are slowly scaling back and bringing multi day trips into the mix again (going from attempting 90% day turns to closer to 70-80%, just like I predicted), and of course, I have started to see this shift in my bid packets as well.
Also, He said 2 new bases next year, ONT and one that starts with a C. (CLT) And for those wondering about "Taxes in California" Look at SJU and how much they cared about that.
We will see.

There’s a rumor making its rounds in the school house that I knew of but didn’t want to mention yet. We will only be getting 25 airplanes next year. Considering Spirit dumped their orders until 2029 and now Jetblue has dumped their 320 orders until 2029 I’m going to say “plausible.” We will know the truth soon.

yeah 21 airplanes for 2025 according the Q2
at 14.479-15 pilots per plane that’s 304-315 more pilots. We’re currently 148 planes with 2143 = 14.479 pilots per plane.
12% seniority growth for a year. Which is still pretty nice
unless it’s diluted across all bases.

The big question - and one someone hopefully knows the answer to - is how many are we giving back next year? Some really outdated info I see is 8 returns in 2025 but surely fewer than that now with extensions they have or are trying to secure.
