There’s a rumor making its rounds in the school house that I knew of but didn’t want to mention yet. We will only be getting 25 airplanes next year. Considering Spirit dumped their orders until 2029 and now Jetblue has dumped their 320 orders until 2029 I’m going to say “plausible.” We will know the truth soon.

What are you saying "plausible" to? Classes?

For now it’s just a rumor. Lots of false rumors make their way out of the school house. That’s still a good growth rate in itself even if it’s true. Though if 321NEOs start to go down than we would be fairly stagnant next year.

I apologize for my idiocy but what does Spirit and JB dropping orders have to do with us getting a few less? Just wondering if you're insinuating it's connected or just general info.

Other rumor from the school house, BL was in ground a week ago and saying that day turns were not working and that they are slowly scaling back and bringing multi day trips into the mix again (going from attempting 90% day turns to closer to 70-80%, just like I predicted), and of course, I have started to see this shift in my bid packets as well.

Also, He said 2 new bases next year, ONT and one that starts with a C. (CLT) And for those wondering about "Taxes in California" Look at SJU and how much they cared about that.

We will see.

Just general info of a rumor is all. Lessen the shock if it’s true and pleasantly surprised if it’s false. I would say it’s plausible only because we appear to be overcapacity in the domestic market. It’s probably not the best idea to continue to take airplanes if we can’t fill them up. That’s another problem for another thread.

There was a major reduction in 1-day % on this recent bid packet. I'd like to see that trend continue. Perhaps the more promising trend is the rise of 4-days. SJU, Chicago and others all got 3+ day sequences that didn't really exist previously.. As someone who doesn't really care to return to home every day, this excites me.

Not in Phoenix. 95% 1-days for September. Truly terrible.
