We are 68% in March according to BB. But some of the current multiday trips involve a crew going to another base and operating a day trip out of that base. So does he still count that as a day turn? I assume yes. However, that seems to be changing still with realignment/displacement bids to be more correctly staffed in each base. -5 here, +5 here kind of stuff.

Day trips wouldn’t be all bad as long they are productive and there is ample open time to swap with , and I get paid more than other airbus pilots in this country.
Many small bases tends to screw you on open time for flexibility and premium pay events for money making.

yep. If there was a solid amount of 7+hr credit day trips, it would be great. There are some new pairings I have seen the last few months that are 3 legs flying, then 1 DH home and credits almost 9hrs... I would love to see some higher 8+hr credit trips and possibly reaching mid 9hrs.
this sounds aamzing. Bring in on the merger! Lol

Which is why I think it does happen prior to NK getting to that point. At this point a cheap offer is all that’s needed and there’s very little competition. There’s still a lot of value in NK if the mistakes can be corrected.

maybe but sounds kind of risky. Everyone assumes its only US Airlines that would want Airbii. Pretty sure European airlines would want them too.

Again. Entirely speculation. I have no idea.

“On Possibility of Reengaging with Spirit Airlines for a deal, Frontier CEO says we don’t have time to even spend energy thinking about it.”
-JP Morgan Industrials conference
But also we are moving to the next phase of Business travel by introducing the option to buy out the middle seat on the front two rows.

So only a couple of Big front seats away from being just like Spirit.
“April bookings look good….Pilot shortage has ‘screeched to a halt”
