similar "activity" occurred before DFW was officially announced. I believe 6 months before or so....
CLE is something I always speculated about: CVG/CLE next base?
"back in the day" CLE was a big hub for United and Continental each (before they merged)

Did they reduce the redeyes or block hours in Vegas?
Any real evidence of why the reduction would come from Vegas as opposed to Orlando?
The thing about CLE to me is that most of the flights from CLE go to other domiciles already. DEN, LAS, MCO, TPA are frequently destinations from CLE and all can already be flown as day turns by other domiciles

They also do plenty of non-domicile flying. SJU is coming back, PUJ, SAN, SFO, RSW, etc. On top of that, Barry seemed to explain during the last call that they want some bases in “origin centric” cities because it makes it easier to offer desirable flight schedules (ie - morning departures and evening returns). If that’s true, then it might make sense for CLE.
