fake news.

I can "run the numbers" and show you how we all easily out earn Big-3 guys.

plus, I "get whatever days off I want."

"No price on QOL" [trying writing a check to your mortgage company with "QOL" on it and see what they say]

"I don't want to be Employee Number 15001 at a 15,000 pilot group." [2101 at a 2,100 group is somehow better....]

"My Frontier class was hired 3 months ago and has 150 guys below us" [Big-3 guy hired 3 months ago has 600 below him]

"Upgrade in under 3 years"

"I am not bailing now. I would lose my time invested here" [Year-2 FO pay at Delta = Year 10 FO at Frontier]

"The stock going down is a good thing...our management is smart !"

"I am not interesting in Europe or Asia. I like US stuff. Cleveland, Vegas, San Diego, here I come" [Big-3 all fly to same cities...]

etc

Barry loves guys like me. Why should we get pay raises in light of my feelings above ?

The 2nd year captain rate posted above was for the smallest currently operated narrowbodies (319 / 737-700).

To your comment - A380 hourly rate for 3rd year FO would be $378.84.
I stand corrected. Thanks for elaborating.

hercretired- “It’s so awful, which is why I still fly for Frontier. I hate Biffy so much, that’s why I chose to continue to work for him. Who needs the greatest hiring market in generations.”

pilots are smart.

While that sounds good, we still wont be able to recruit with that. All the "QoL" improvements we obtain aren't visible to pilots thinking about coming here. Getting the above would ensure we don't grow for the next 5 years. In the end, people want $ so I'm not sure why we want to overthink this.

How about we just negotiate what everyone else has. Same rates. Our current drop/swap/trade or slightly better. More vacation as you mentioned, 18% 401k, Spirit LTD rules, industry average perdiem, profit sharing, etc. And BTW, not everyone wants company paid health care (military retirees).

Let's be a REGULAR airline - not some specialty group that handles customers and pays their pilots differently.

You think the union can negotiate F9 to change its entire business model? That would be something.
