That’s what BL has been saying yes. I hope they learned that they can grow organically this time around and not displace…

Agreed, gents. Finally seeing modest seniority gains in-base and hoping it doesn't get erased next summer.. Them's the breaks I guess but hopefully not.

@Target, are we looking at growth in 2026? Judging by this https://www.fftpilots.com/fleet/ it seems like we're largely flat in 26, but I'm assuming that we will probably extend some leases?

Thats the hope. We’ve been extending all 8 yr leases to 12 for the last few years. 323-344, 722, & 723 show leases expiring in ‘26. I would think the NEOs are worth extending but it’s impossible to say.

I can't say which of the 3 its gonna be but I don't think it will be all 3. BL came and spoke to us when I was out in DEN and said specifically that they feel like they learned alot from this year and opening 3+ bases a year is not good for anyone. He said he expects 1 base a year for the next couple years. But that was before we deferred a lot of the orders so now I could see 1 base next year and after that, who knows.

I love how they learn things that basically anyone could have predicted.

I mean, did they really learn anything? Displacing 40+ pilot's lives in a single bid, x2. They sit in the emerald palace with not a worry in their mind other than wanting to do what they want. Poor people (literally poor because lowest paid, see what I did there?) having to get displaced out of a base they just bought a house in, just to get a crashpad, then get displaced another month.

BL just says this stuff so that he can get the pilots off his back during recurrent questions.

They learned it was more expensive than they thought to displace all those pilots. That’s the only thing they cared about.
