They’ll offer us a $40/hr across the board pay raise tied to a 5 year deal, the dismissal of all outstanding grievances, and no changes to anything else. When we don’t take the deal, they’ll start sending airframes to other carriers until we capitulate.

that’s the beginning of the end. The only people who will stay will be the senior - and this airline can’t afford just paying those with 8+ yrs on property. Parking/giving away aircraft and mandatory downgrades are the nail in the coffin.

You guys are going down the rabbit hole here. We will get a contract but first the company will try every play in the book and when they’re desperate enough they will come to the table. Probably 2-3 years from now.

… and then the crews will stop going above and beyond to float the operation.

If thats the case then why are airlines looking to them to solve the pilot shortage? ER grads come out with more experience than a 1-2 year RJ guy. The education is second to none. That’s why they’re flowing from college to bigger airlines.
