Default United Announces New Bases

United has officially announced new pilot crew bases.

New Bases effective May of 2023:
- B737 MCO (with a potential co-terminal in TPA)
- B737 LAS

They didn't announce the Airbus in those bases because when we merge we'll already have the busses there.

UAL keeps talking how they’re so eco friendly but they don’t have any neos and buy a bunch of beaters from F9 and spirit. So there could be some legitimacy to a merger / buy out.

If anything post this on the Spirit board, they are the ones about to get hosed on seniority, especially in mco and fll

No dog in the fight….but if you’re already at Frontier based in Orlando, what does United’s soon to be senior MCO base offer you besides having to wait behind X amount of pilots to hold it?

If you wanted to fly the 737 in a very senior MCO base, why wouldn’t you be trying to go to Southwest years ago? All of a sudden United opens a 737 base and you’re interested? What’s the difference?
