Before Covid we had 33 destinations out of RDU. I believe now 9 or so. Going to 11 maybe soon? Don’t quote me on this, this is from my last conversation with our station people there.
i definitely do not think it’s in the running anymore. But never say never. Especially because I would have never thought Atlanta would happen anymore either yet here we are

I wouldn’t count anything out at this point. Wouldn’t surprise me to see PHX ONT AUS CVG RSW RDU EWR. No clue but I wouldn’t say anywhere is ruled out.

I live in Atlanta...that’s why I’m asking. I fly heavies in the military and am at 20 years but am holding off on retiring until the airlines pick back up. Working for Frontier in Atlanta and not having to commute is tempting though.

Really tough to say right now. Since the base isn’t open, we can’t bid it, and we haven’t hired in almost a year, we have no real evidence to go on. Pre-COVID, you could hold pretty much any base right out of training so that is the latest evidence we have.

So just from reading this thread, is it unrealistic for a new hire to get Atlanta as his or her domicile when Atlanta opens up later in the year?
