This lends itself even more to going to a lot of bases, and day trips. Hope you get lucky with a base near you. Commuting will be even more miserable, or impossible.

We do a lot of maintanance and destinations out of TPA. I guess they figured we might as well start building pairings out of there instead of having reserves flying empty planes to and from there for MX.
Atlanta we do plenty of flights out of there. Even though I didn’t see it coming evidently enough to justify opening a small base.

The did it years ago and we ended up with MCO base so I find it surprising. Maybe they did sign gate contracts in ATL as someone else brought up. There was a saying in WWII - “loose lips sink ships”
