The other issue is a 2-hour callout for a leg 1 offline DH. It's nice that they give you the hour before the departure time, but admittedly those can suck because you don't have a boarding pass and sometimes gate agents want to close the door 15 minutes prior to push.

Definitely appreciate the input! ATL's a game changer and really puts Frontier as my top LCC with the ability to live in domicile. Now if I can figure out the work rules...I hear as LCCs go, Spirit's ability to drop is hard to beat.

You said work rules but overall I know NK got better LTD, they have the aforementioned ability to drop to 0, and I think they receive some form of compensation in the form of high-fives. Otherwise, I bet we're economically similar. The Monthly Credit Override at F9 is nice if you're willing to put in the work to efficiently get to 82 hours. Everything above that is paid at 1.25%. Maybe the MECs could compare notes to see how we compare economically.
I don't live anywhere near an F9 base and overall very happy/lucky to be at F9 and have 0 interest in leaving. Good luck receiving interest from either place.

The only time I’ve ever interacted with a gate agent during an offline deadhead is either when I scan my boarding pass at the door or, if I’m pretty early, politely telling them that I’m an offline deadhead and nicely ask if they wouldn’t mind if I boarded early. 99% of the time they let me go down with the pre-boards. The other 1% they’ve let me go down right after them. Personally, I’ve always preferred offline deadheads. Get to collect the airline miles too.

perhaps it’s just me; but with incredible schedule flexibility; 2 weeks off accruing year 1 and all manner of insider tips to play with; why would anyone want to drop to ‘no work, no pay’ with any regularity anyway?
