As I was eluding to earlier the other possibility of opentime being awarded as premium without ever going into the folder. Pilots are calling scheduling and making bubba deals. I’ve heard pilots do this. It was a real problem last sec 6 and a loa allowing it had to be withdrawn to get it under control. That’s when the company yanked some vacations. Either way bot or bubba it needs to stop.

Not bot related (I don’t think), but I watched a premium get picked up today that was 1 extra hour. Come on guys!! Why are we picking that up!!?

I think that he was just making the point that we are required to maintain the status qou during negotiations.

But a premium trip listed at only 1 hour over the block time still pays well

im certainly not suggesting doing anything against the company. Not at all. I’m more surprised the “premium” trip was for 1 hour over and it was still snatched right up.

yeah I've seen ones with ntr and less than an hour incentive, aint worth the drive to the airport. Clowns.

saw one where they maxed it out at 3 hours, and nobody touched it, and the flight cxd, they'll learn soon enough.

Better that they pickup a premium trip at 150%, than a split trip without a min guarantee. It’s ridiculous, and then people complain we won’t get a better contract as we undercut ourselves.

All trips in the premium folder are created by the company and therefore have to at the very least adhere to the min duty period rule. If it has anything less than that, it's a mistake. If you want it, pick it up and call crew scheduling, they will change it. I have done it multiple times.

As for the clown comment, even a 5 hr premium is almost double time if your over 82 hrs.
