Ran into a MEC rep a while ago who described how it’s a problem unprompted by me. You’re either ignorant or a user.
I don’t make many requests but when I do I’m pretty fast even just using just my phone. I know the game and don’t mind being beaten out by the fast ones because I used to play the game as well and be one of the fast ones. Then I got a life. I still occasionally play the game but somehow, amazingly, HALF of my requests have been beaten by one person. The last one in particular I just happened to be in FLICA when the trip dropped on my home computer with solid wifi at a random time of day. Surprise, surprise…I still lost out to that guy. Possible yes. Likely no.

It would be cool if you couldn't hide your schedule on FLICA... some people haven't. Seeing their premium, sick and FPL in the same month is interesting. I am not mad about that though because there are only a few premium trips in their month.
There is a certain 1 or 2 people who didn't hide their schedule and have 8+ premium trips every month. That is really interesting seeing the same 120+ credit every month I can look at.
I wonder what those who hide their schedules look like. I know for sure there is a CA who has 160+hrs almost every month as he was on my jumpseat and showed us his schedule. There is also a certain FO who is doing it as well.

Seperately I dont like working weekends anymore so it’s pretty rare I try for a premium. As in it’s probably has been about a year since I tried. Even so, they usually aren’t incentivized enough for my time. I watch (alerts) every base just to stay informed however. Yes to your credit it’s pretty easy to see when those are about to pop.
