I just attended an LEC meeting last week and the plan was shared to deal with the bots. It's getting ready to come out soon. 👍

Thats what I got from a rep too but didn’t want to make false promises out of my control.

Ok, so this is less about bots and more about FLICA in general. Maybe it's my ignorance regarding where F9 schedulers step in to the FLICA process, but it seems that drops/adds/trades are taking longer and longer to complete. I've also started to notice "Processing" reverting back to "Pending" and then back several times... which I don't think I've ever noticed. Waiting 10 hours for a trade to complete seems slightly ridiculous.

Bottom line: Is it always this slow or am I just growing more impatient?

It is usually like this... Schedulers do it when they can and I have had open time open at 9am, I put in a request instantly and I see no response for 4hrs before. Sometimes It REALLY sucks because you are trying to figure stuff out and if it was instant, it would let you make plans to what trips you would pick up, etc.

But yeah, its not "real time" at all.

Some flica transactions have to be done manually by a crew scheduler. Split, res pickups, return from various loa’s, etc.ect.. when that happens all transactions in that seat/domicile are paused until that manual transaction is completed. There’s language to staff scheduling for peak flica usage times. 25.O.4. Pretty sure management is not in compliance on that and I believe there’s a group grievance on it but I’m not positive? If you have experienced substantial wait times on transactions it wouldn’t be a bad idea to file a dispute (25.O.4 violation) anyway. I would ask for a vac day as a remedy. It’s not hard to argue you wasted a day of my time.

Fire the two worst abusers (so they each have another shoulder to cry on) and let the union try to get their jobs back after five or six months off with no pay. I have no patience with cheaters. Same with liars and thieves.

I’d be happy with No flica for a year and a month off no pay. When you start to fire people for taking advantage of a third party vendor it has the potential to create a slippery slope. I don’t want to have to know all the terms and conditions of all the garbage apps we use.

I love when I am denied a pickup and it’s already on the trade board…fire them all. It’s not a hidden term and condition…everyone knows bots aren’t allowed.
