I currently fly Heavy 767 cargo, but absolutley hate my schedule and the company in general, but I'm trying to hold off going somewhere else while waiting on F9. I'm not sure I'll be able to wait another few months here, unfortunately. Frontier checks ALL the boxes for me, so its a shame they are dragging this out. From the sound of it, it will probably be 3rd or 4th quarter for us FO direct hires.

*Apparently* it's because they don't think they will need as many pilots for day turns. Everyone I've talked to who has had some time in F9 says they tried this before and it never worked. The FO I just talked to today said Feb. was 70% day turns.

The FO you talked to is full of it. The highest percentage of day turns for February is ~54%, with most bases in the 35%-45% range. One base is at 27%
Is management shooting for 90%? Probably. Will it work? Maybe. Will it stick? Who knows.

DFW is the only exception showing ~72%

Ah, yep. Missed that in the bid packet. Either way, that’s not indicative of what is happening system wide in February. With that said, DFW has been creeping up the past few months. Are they testing the waters? Perhaps. DFW’s geographic location lends itself nicely to day trips. I saw a random advertisement the other day for the airport itself, touting that is is within ~4hrs of anywhere in the US.

Thanks for clearing that up - I was skeptical about it. I probably heard "all" trips and not just DFW. It's been a long 2 months.

I threw in my app at frontier a few weeks ago and did my personality assessment this week. What's the turnaround time between the assessment and getting a call about an interview? Also curious about how y'all's who left your regional for frontier like flying there?

SkyWest vs Frontier is a complete night and day difference. My QOL here is 100000x better than there along with most other things. SkyWest does beat us in on time performance, travel benefits, cancellations, and IT department for sure.

So... Not even a slight rumor about the hiring classes?
Been over 3 weeks since Feb got scrapped and none of us have heard anything. I'm visiting HQ this week for the compliance/logbook review and still not a clue when I'll be onboarded haha. Just waiting to be told I'm getting delayed any day now.
