go take a look at the 5/1 list 😉 add two classes to the bottom. Boom. The 7/1 list.

Biffle mind tricks…”these are not the attrition numbers you are looking for”

Fortunately I’m still tracking those on my own. My numbers show we are trending higher with an average closer to 35 per month this year. But that could be slightly skewed as one month got a little weird with a bunch leaving right as a class was added so it looked like 47 left. Not sure how accurate that was.

The hiring numbers are going back up.

54 in class currently, with a class of 55 starting in only 2 weeks.

No doubt. I would expect ~55 in perpetuity unless attrition gets worse. If that happens and attrition holds steady we will have hired about 575 and lost about 400 by years end.

50-60 person classes are cool and all but let me see more than 8 upgrades before it means anything. Upgrade pushing 4 years again.

Word on the street is upgrad classes are going too be every other month going forward. FO newhires take way longer to hit the line than upgrades. So when you see a big new hire class, expect the upgrade class to be a month or 2 later.

we are hiring 50/50 for growthb and attrition (says HR) So if we grow by 25 pilots per month, we will only upgrade 12 per month max
