Currently the training footprint is about 110 days, according to what I have seen. No real need to show up on day 1 with anything other than a good attitude and a way to take notes. I would go through the memory items and limitations a few times but don't focus on them too much. You will have time to memorize them later.

This has been asked and answered so many times, but here it is again: Approximately…

-3.5 weeks of indoc/systems with weekends off
-several days off
-6 FTDs with a few days off in the middle
-several days off
-11 sims (8 training, 1 check ride, 2 LOFTs) with a few days off in the middle
-several days off
-begin IOE

IOE is longer for some than for others. Some do 2 trips and hit the line while others get sent back to the sim because it isn’t coming together. There have also been many posts saying don’t study anything, those posts are correct. You will be spoon fed everything you need to know.

2 Weeks of ground (normal schedule M-F 0800-1700) followed by FTDs (6). FTDs are split first 3, short break, then last 3 then the type oral. Then a week-ish break after FTDs followed by FFS sessions. I think there's something like 8 of those, the type ride, and then 2 sims AFTER the type ride (LOFT and "Sim X" I believe). Insert a 4-6 day break somewhere in the middle of FFS. All in all expect just under 2mo from day 1 til "Sim X." Was just told this AM there are no delays going into IOE and to expect 3-4 days off between final sim and IOE.

No need to prep anything before day 1 but of course learning memory items verbatim is helpful. Limitations is not crazy thorough and can EASILY be memorized during class alongside learning systems. It'll feel like a firehose but it all comes together at the right time! Training department is excellent and they're always ready/happy to help.

I saw a ton of mistakes that have not been there in previous versions. Looked like the latest intern got a hold of it and butchered it. Newest captains still numbered as FOs, and “1” next to a few people who are not “1”. That was just my page….
