Obviously all of the details are subject to change, you won’t know for sure until you get a class date, at that point you start getting emails with the particulars.

I'd say about 1/3rd of my class brought cars. The last couple of new hire FO classes have been too big for the Airbus training center's classrooms so they've been having class in the Marriott/Woolley's conference rooms, which are within easy walking distance of the Courtyard. The sim training center isn't but is a pretty cheap uber (~$10). We hitched a ride with classmates about half the time and ubered the other half and it worked out fine. If you can make the drive it's definitely worth having for the weekends if you don't decide to go home.

The 8/22 class was about 50/50 of some training lines getting only 2-5 days off before starting FPTs after indoc with the other half getting 14-20 days off before starting up the FPTs.

I received this email. Is this basically spam to keep applications coming in or is this legit interest in my app?:

There weren't any delays in the footprint for our class. Any time spent at home after the first 3 weeks was because of the "line" you were awarded for FTDs/Sims. We had about 10 days off between the end of ground and our first FTD (and about the same after the oral before sims started) but that was because we had one of the schedules that finished toward the end of our class. We finished ground on a Friday and the guys who started in the first round of FTDs I think started either the following Monday or Tuesday and most of them just stayed in Denver that weekend. Some pairs had their schedules adjusted while in FTDs/sims due to instructor availability but I think everyone got through without any delays. Pretty much everyone was 5 on/5 off/5 on for sims.
