Hiring / training

I would dig my heals a bit more into the SBI portion of aviationinterview.com and ask about SBI a bit more. I would also go back with interview prep done. I felt like the panel portion was strong, but I wouldn’t leave any rock unturned tbh. All my friends that made it onto Frontier told me not to do a prep service. Would it have made the difference? Idk, but at least I wouldn’t be wondering “what if I did use a prep service?” Hindsight is always 20/20 though.

Yes but as you said, those are pathway program pilots with different requirements. If you’re interviewing off the street, they will not interview without a FAA ATP.

This is why I put off applying for so long until someone finally convinced me to anyway. I got the outmatch assessment 9 days later. I’m 22, interviewed with another 22 y/o. I know someone who got hired at 21. Similar to their multi engine time requirement, it doesn’t appear to be a hard requirement (550 multi for me).

Does anyone know how interviews post MTC works? For Orlando it says a select few individuals will interview the following day. Do you have to be invited to interview before the event? Or in theory if they like you they’ll say come back tomorrow for your interview?

Probably not that surprising. They'd just be happy to be here for a lot of them. Mexicans, Chileans, and Singaporeans is whom they are targeting.

I know a few Canadians with FAA ATPs who would come work in the USA given the chance. All with 5-6k+ hours, command experience etc. Could be that certain airlines know upgrades are going to end up going to new hires pretty soon (already happening at DAL) and positioning themselves to find pilots with 320/737 command time? Who knows.
