You don’t get a second chance for a first impression. Between technology, benefits, communication , materials presentation and organization, sim issues, IOE issues, base assignments……a lot of new hires are wondering if this is the type of place they want to hang their hat long term.

Couldn’t agree more. Company needs to get there s*it together. A lot of room for improvement especially on the new hire side. The only reason a lot of us are here is because of the prospect of aggressive growth. If new guys keep bailing, that’s gonna be a hard plan to execute.

I think it starts at the top. The guys in charge of Flight Ops and Training are terrible. Certain CP’s terrible. Nothing but rumors and drama. Let’s get get our big boy pants on please.

Most of the drama happens only on APC.

A lot of us are wondering if you're the type of pilot we want to hang your hat here.

Anyone starting to get the Dec class yet? I’m still hopeful to make it into that one

^ exactly. I got tired of being stuck on the bottom in DEN after 2 years, so I reactivated my airline apps and updated...DAL called the very next week and UAL the week after that. I'm sure I'm not an outlier. DAL, UAL, and SWA are going to hire 4,000+ next year! If we are going to grow even a tad staffing will be a major hurdle.

I wish you the best of luck with your options, but it always surprises me how many people come to F9 for the DEN domicile. The previously mentioned growing pains aren’t totally untrue…but while those things are likely to improve, the outlook for somebody wanting to live in DEN probably won’t. Buyer beware.
