Sounds like Frontier is back to its old ways. Hiring 4 out of 10....
Folks, if you want the job, you need to show up prepared. You need to put down your phone, be humble and show your personality. Be friendly, be social and be grateful to be there. If you walk in the interview acting like they owe you the job, you won't get it. If you walk in thinking the interview is just a formality and the job is yours... it won't be.
Frontier hires for personality, not hours and type ratings.

AND
Were you told TBNT, or they wanted to see you back in 6 months? At my 9 hour interview, I was shocked at both who got the job (myself included), and who didn't.
There are a lot of ways to botch the interview here: SBI, Panel, pre-panel. But all the time spent waiting is one of the best ways to cut your head off. I saw people take their jackets off, sit down and get comfortable, and not engage the "runners". Those two were not offered jobs.
I prepped, as so many other here have, with Lori Clark. She's simply the best for this particular airline. Two other fellas in my group also prepped with her and got the job. Best money I've ever spent.
When was the ORD event? I know that most who interviewed from spring 2018 until our AIP was announced were in and out in sometimes less than an hour, but we were beyond desperate at that point. Post AIP/contract, the floodgates have opened on applicants and we can afford to be a lot more particular in who we hire.
I honestly hope you were given the "come back in 6 months" but, as others have stated, leave the sour grapes in the trash, bud. They WANTED to hire you when they called you for an interview. It was up to you to show them that you'd fit in here. A mistake (or multiple) on your part was made during the interview and it's as simple as that. Do your best to figure out what that was and reapply. Best of luck!

What I am getting at though isn't "whoa is me", as much as it's I can't believe they only hired 4/10, when everyone there seemed to be genuinely great people and well qualified. It's mystifying. And that's bad recruiting.
To some of your points, not a single person took off their jacket until 2:45pm when an HR rep literally told us to as it was hot in the break room. The only phones out I saw were in the men's room. I personally left mine in my suitcase.
For me, I truly don't know where I made a mistake. I know I honestly wanted to be there and conveyed that as much as possible. I'm not looking to bail for Delta/SWA/FedEx etc.
I prepped, I studied AviationInterviews, I was social to everyone. And so was everyone else it seemed.
After them hiring 10/10 in ORD, I thought this looked it was going to be same, as everyone was cool and seemed great to be on a 4 day with.
But I was very wrong.
They gave us the "Feel free to re-apply in six months", but it wasn't said in a warm and fuzzy, more just a matter of fact, it was said to all of us at once and then we were shown the door. At lease three of us were dumbstruck.
You can take this as bitter if you wish. Of course it is. I'll reflect over the experience. I'm not bashing the company here, so no need to get defensive. I'm just floored they took four. Literally right BEFORE they announced who was being sent home, Barry Biffle even came down and shook hands with all of us and thanked us. That was two minutes before we were shown the door. We all thought that was the sign we were hired. It was weird.
Congrats on the new contract.

Not at all denying there are sour grapes here.

Delta, UA, SWA, JB all routinely hire 80%+ of interviewees. Follow their RST groups in FB to see.

Congrats for showing us how it should be done. Why are you still here *****ing? Sorry you didn’t make the cut, that’s life and most of us have been there. Best to tear off the bandaids and move on.

Frontier has historically been very picky in interviews. I believe that the company has turned down a ton of good candidates over the past 5 years. I believe this is a mistake.
The day I interviewed, there were 14 of us. I talked to everybody and I believed that 12 of 14 of us should have been hired. Instead they hired 4.
I don't know what to tell you.... I believe it's their unanimous "yes" policy back in action. If one person on the panel says no, it's a no.

When I got hired they choose 6 out of 10 and we all commenting that the percentage must have went up from the usual 30-40% hired. I have been turned down before at other interviews and it stings for a few weeks. Things happen for a reason, keep your head up man.

4 of 8 got hired during my interview less than a month ago. I think the guys that didn't get it were in their own heads, and at least 1 had an ego problem. Another sat on his phone while the VP of flight ops came down to chat with us. You only get one shot at a first impression and if you ******* the bed it's on you. I'll be the first to say the interview is very doable and the people interviewing you are not the problem.
